Dubai is the city of trillion lights. This glamorous city is quite expensive as heard by everybody around. But Dubai has something to offer for everyone. Backpacking in Dubai on a budget is not easy, but, I am here to give you quick tips on how to have your cheap holidays in Dubai.

Here, are a couple of tips that will help cut your costs when travelling in Dubai. If you are on a budget, and trying to save some money for shopping, I would recommend saving on accommodations first. Dubai has Hostels, Apartments for staying long and Budget Hotels which provide discounts on your stay.

Hotels in Dubai are expensive, but ...

Dubai also offers a wide range of accommodation for modest budget travelers. Quality two-star hotels are conveniently located across Dubai and are one of the most inexpensive options for any occasion.
One of the hotels serving tourist to stay in and enjoy variety of amenities during holidays is EVEREST INTERNATIONAL HOTEL. This Hotel conveniently located at AL Raffa, Bur Dubai, merely 10 minutes’ drive from Dubai International Airport is a popular choice of customers. They even offer tour packages and discounts up to 20%.
Dubai also offers a couple of top free things to do. Beside glamorous events and shopping malls, there are a lot of low cost things to do that aim at experiencing the authenticity of Emirati culture.

Here are some ways on how you can appreciate the wonders of the city without breaking the bank.

• Dubai Aquarium-This Aquarium is the Guinness World Records largest Aquarium for free at The Dubai Mall, unless you want to see the marine animals up-close, a ticket costs 50AED.
• Cross the Creek on a boat-Pay only a Dirham and cross the atmospheric Dubai creek from Bur Dubai to Deira on the opposite side.
• Jumeirah beach Residence and the walk-This walk is one of the best things to do in Dubai on a budget. There is free WIFI, clean toilets and camels.
• The Dubai Fountain-It is the world’s largest dancing fountain. The fountain creates amazing spectacle every few minutes from 6pm until 11pm.You can watch as many shows you want without and dirhams splurging.
• Dubai Marina-The worlds tallest twisted tower (Cayan tower) can be seen Free by taking a stroll at Marina Walk.
• Swim at Jumeirah Beach (with views of AL-Arab)-This is one of the best places to relax and hop into the water. This seemed to be pretty and not overly crowded.
Apart from my favorite free things to do in Dubai, I also give more Budget tips on how to save on public transportation, food, travelling safely and so on. Dubai is not very walkable, you can opt for nearby transportation links, hop-on and hop-off bus tours are a cheaper option to consider. Spending on meals is also to be monitored while travelling on a Budget. For example: Food courts in shopping malls are also an inexpensive place to fill up your tummy. Heading towards old areas like Satwa, Bur Dubai and Deira, have plenty of small restaurants where you can get a meal for about AED 20-30, these meals can be amazing and affordable at the same time.
I hope now Dubai is on your bucket list, these experiences can be fun enabling you to explore Dubai without over budgeting.
